GDPR Compliance Statement
The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is a privacy and data protection regulation in the European Union, effective from 25th May 2018.
The GDPR imposes new obligations on organisations that control the process of personal data and introduces new rights and protections of EU citizens, these rights are due to be retained for UK citizens even after Brexit.
Wallis Payroll are committed to ensuring that your privacy, and the privacy of your employees is protected and we comply with the provisions of the relevant Data Protection Legislation, including GDPR, ensuring that all personal data is handled in line with the principles outlined in the regulation.
Our GDPR principles:
- We will process all personal data fairly and lawfully
- We will only collect and process personal data for specific and lawful purposes
- We will not keep personal data for longer than is necessary
- We will endeavour to hold relevant and accurate personal data, and where practical, this will be kept up to date
- We will process and retain all personal data in a manner that ensures appropriate security to prot4ect against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidently lossx, destruction or damage
Wallis Payroll respect our client and their employees rights to data privacy and protection and have therefore revised our internal policies and procedures, and working practices in order to meet the obligations of GDPR. Wallis Payroll are committed to compliance of GDPR as both a data processor and data controller and continually monitor and make improvements to processes where necessary.
